Non-linear PowerPoint Connect Activity
Previously, you viewed a demonstration on how to create non-linear PowerPoint presentations and had the opportunity to create one of your own. In this last learning activity, you are to answer the following reflective questions regarding the work you have done thus far.
•Identify a PowerPoint presentation that you created.
•What was the purpose of the presentation?
•How would your presentation have been different if your presentation had been in a non-linear format?
•Would there have been a different reaction/response from your audience with the non-linear format?
•How will future presentations change now that you are familiar with the non-linear format?
Submit your answers in a Word document attached to an email. Please be thoughtful and thorough in your responses.

Non-linear PowerPoint Do Activity
In the previous post you viewed two video demonstrations on how to create a non-linear PowerPoint. In this next step you will create a presentation about yourself. The presentation itself must have at least 10 slides with at least four of those slides branching out from the linear portion of the presentation. Remember that your hyperlinks can be attached to words or pictures. Once you have completed your non-linear PowerPoint, please submit it to me via email. You will have 48 from the date of this post to complete the presentation about yourself. If you have questions/comments/concerns you may post them in the comments section below (your question may actually help someone else who is completing the same assignment) or you may email me directly. I look forward to seeing your creativity at work with the new skill you have acquired. Good luck and have fun!

Creating a non-linear PowerPoint (Absorb)
The following videos were created to guide you through creating a non-linear PowerPoint. While all of us are familiar with creating a PowerPoint presentation, a non-linear presentation is just that - the slide to not move from first to last in a sequential order. Somewhere along the way the presenter is branching the audience away from the information to give them something else in addition to what they are seeing and hearing. In this demonstration, you will be shown step-by-step how to create the non-linear portion from beginning to end. The videos are broken down into two portions - the first part is creating the hyperlinks to the various slides; part two is setting up the custom slide show to ensure that it works properly when being viewed.
When you have finished viewing the demonstration, you are asked to create a non-linear PowerPoint of your own and submit it to me. This can be on any topic, but it may be more simple to create a presentation about yourself and include some pictures. Good luck and have fun!
